Handloom Handicraft Exporters Welfare Association (HHEWA) was established in the year 2018 as a non-profit organization, with the objective to promote, support, protect, maintain, and enhance the exports of Indian handloom and handicraft products. It serves as an apex body of Indian handloom and handicraft exporters, working to project India’s image as a reliable source of high-quality handmade goods and services across global markets.

Our Mission

> To advocate artisan and exporter interests through representation in government policy formulation.
> To provide support, resources, and training to exporters to enhance global competitiveness.

Role & Recognition

HHEWA functions as an advisory body to the Government of India, offering recommendations on trade policies, incentive schemes, fiscal duties, and programs that directly affect the handicraft and handloom export sector.
